Singing / Musical Theater

FALL 2022
This class will instruct students how to sing in musical theater style – incorporating fun elements such as harmonies, singing in character, as well as group and solo parts. Students will learn family-friendly songs from a wide variety of shows and films (ex: Frozen, Encanto, Newsies, The Greatest Showman, etc), while incorporating basic music-reading fundamentals.

This course is perfect for students who love to sing – or are perhaps interested in singing – and will encourage teamwork, confidence, and memorization skills. Sheet music will be provided – students will need a binder with page protectors to keep their music safely cataloged.
