Math enCOUNTer
Whether your student loves math or might need a little extra support, he or she will encounter math in a fun way. We will experience math through interactive activities; from practicing addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division facts to math games and much more. This class is geared toward 3rd-5th grade students.
– “Did you know?” Segment (Quick interesting facts about math)
– Daily Drill (individual timed math drill worksheets, the will each move at their own pace)
–Teaching Segment & Practice
–Get up and Play (Interactive games, some team and some individual)
-Weekly logic riddle
-Raffle time (each week the students will have chances to earn raffle tickets. For example a ticket for arriving to class on time, for solving the weekly riddle, winning games, and doing optional extra practice at home).
