Speech & Leadership

The class will incorporate leadership, project-based management and public speaking lessons in order to help students form their team structure, design and implement community service projects, and lead their peers within their community.  Throughout the year, the students will work with their fellow teammates to plan, execute, and reflect on several community service projects. They will learn and acquire problem solving, leadership, project management, marketing, and enhanced communication skills. The main goal of the class is for students to grow in confidence as they become more aware of their strengths and ability to use their voice and energy to make a positive impact in their world through teamwork, leadership, and community service.

• Project-Based Learning Master Course 
• Public Speaking Course 
• Other resources or handouts may be provided during class by Mrs. Batman

NOTE: Students will be emailed a PDF, which they will need to print and put in a binder.

• Laptops / Ipads
• Pencils / Pens
• Colored Pencils
• Markets 
• Lined Paper
• Three-prong Binder (1.5 inches)
• Dividers for Binder
• Team Shirts:  $25
