Project Description
Andrea obtained her AA in Television & Radio Production from Pasadena City College and a BA from Cal Arts in Film Production. She worked in the film and television industry for 8 years. When she became pregnant with her first child she knew that she wanted to do things unconventionally. She had her firstborn at home and became a stay-at-home mom. She has been home-schooling her children for 4 years and started hosting a “gameschooling” class as a fun way to enrich skills in math, reading, and Spanish. The positive response she has received from the kids’ interactions has provided a rewarding experience, and she is very excited to share this class with others at Pathfinders.
Andrea enjoys playing board games, hiking, exploring new places and food, crafting and traveling. She has a strong passion for animal life and the planet by helping others reduce plastic waste in their home.
