Hola! Is your child interested in learning a second language? Speaking a second language is such a gift, stimulates the mind and has shown to improve memory, problem-solving and even higher cognitive skills. The class is taught in fun ways through songs, games, activities, art/crafts, and read-aloud books. This is an introductory class where we will cover basic introduction phrases, greetings, emotions, letter sounds and more. We begin each class with the day of the week, the current month, the season, and the weather. More details below. I’m excited to embark on this journey with you and your little one!
2024/2025 TOPICS:
Semester 1: Do you like ___?, big and small, good and bad, clean and dirty, above and below, item names in a house, animals that jump (Jump, Froggy, Jump), listening, Halloween and/or Day of Dead, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Semester 2: I am hungry, food, I see__, I can __, I want__, Easter, May 5th (cinco de mayo), Mexico, culture and Mother’s day.
**There will be an additional $15 for the Sonrisas student portfolio/ workbook (NOT included on PO).These are purchased in bulk so the price is significantly reduced. If your child has taken my class the previous year, then you will Not need to purchase a new book. We will use the same book but covering new lessons.
